This series explores the silent rhythm of Moscow through black and white street photography. Rather than documenting the city, the work focuses on its in-between moments: gestures, pauses, and fragmented movements that reveal an emotional geography beneath the urban surface. The absence of color removes distraction and emphasizes contrast, texture, and atmosphere. Light and shadow become the language through which the city is observed. “Steps in Silence” is not about the city as a subject, but about presence within it—where solitude is not emptiness, but a quiet form of connection.
